The biggest subsidiary of Turcas today is Shell & Turcas Petrol A.Ş. (“STAŞ”), of which %30 shares belong to Turcas. STAŞ is one of the leading companies of the Turkish petroleum market with nearly 1300 Shell gas stations, lubricant manufacturing facilities, retail and commercial sales.

Marmara Petrol ve Rafineri İşleri A.Ş. (“Marmara”) established for refinery activities in 1958 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Turcas. Marmara owns %5 of the shares of ATAŞ Anadolu Tasfiyehanesi A.Ş. (ATAŞ Refinery) located in Mersin and started operations in 1962. Other shareholders of ATAŞ are BP (%68) and Shell (%27).  ATAŞ stopped its refinery activities in 2004 and is currently providing Terminal services to its shareholders with the Storage License obtained from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority.

In 4Q 2006, Turcas has entered into a strategic partnership with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) in line with the planned new ventures in the oil and gas sectors. Turcas and SOCAR jointly established a new company named SOCAR & Turcas Enerji A.Ş., owned %25 by Turcas.
